HOMEWARD BOUND

HELPFUL HINT

As a reminder, the most recent post will show first.  I normally make a post every day.  On the right side below our picture is a "blog archive" with the older posts.  Just click on the date of the post you have not viewed if you don't check my blog every day.  Also as a reminder, you can click on my photos to enlarge them for better viewing.

LAST EVENING

Grey Goose martini, chardonnay, and pigs.

                                                              Manhattan at night.

TODAY

We ended up with $1.14 left of ship board credits.
We got up at 6am.  Amazingly, they started unloading luggage at 6:30.
We had ordered breakfast to be delivered at 7am.  It never showed up until 7:30 as we were walking out of the room to disembark.  I told him he was too late.
                                                                      Our limo
We actually walked off the ship at 7:45.  Our Blacklane driver was there but on the upper level so took him a while to get down to us.  Immigration didn't even look at out passports.  We headed for LGA airport at 7:15 and arrived at 8:00.  Curbside checked our luggage and just short TSA line.
The inbound flight was a little late so we left the gate 10 minutes late and had a 30 minute wait for takeoff but still arrived at DFW right on time.
                                                                    Heading home
                                                                    Two for the road.
I had the short rib.  Very tender and good.  With a half baked potato and grilled red onion.
                                                    Rebecca had the chicken enchiladas.
                                                            Ducle de leche ice cream
They gave me a spoon but there was a small one in the lid.
Sitting across the isle from me.  It was very well behaved puppy and a lot better than most passengers.
Mike was waiting for us when we got our checked luggage.  Mike is the guy we just to go to and from the airport.  We arrived back at The Tradition just after 3pm.  We have unloaded our carry on bags and part of the big bags.  Ran out of steam so will finish tomorrow.  I wanted to get this post sent out before dinner.

Well, the cruise was great but nice to be home for awhile.  Next cruise is August 30th for a two week Alaska cruise.  Yes, there will be another blog then.  I hope you have enjoyed traveling with us the last 17 days.  Ya'll have a nice 4th of July!
